Wow! What a first day! This company has everything! The campus is beautiful, and they have the most friendly staff. I think I'm going to love working there.
I'm not really allowed to take pictures or anything, but the buildings are big, new, and full of artifacts from previous movies for decorations. Very cool stuff.
I got my first day of training today, and I think most of the rest of the week will be getting us familiarized with the pipeline. I can't wait to get a shot to work on!
I don't want to say too much and get in trouble, but things are looking very cool. Stay tuned for more.

The big city

I've started noticing all those funny stereotypes you always see in movies and tv shows about big cities are so true. Walking down the street today I got a front-row view of a guy cursing out a cabbie who almost hit him while cutting across an intersection. Hilarious.
It rained today, but that didn't seem to matter to anyone. Cars went just as fast up and down the steep hills, but the water made everyone skid all over.
I walked down the hill to Chinatown in the evening. I'll have to go earlier next time, though. Everything was closed or closing by 8. I'll try to get some pictures next time.

San Francisco!

Well, here I am in San Francisco. It seems like such an amazing place, but it is so overwhelming at first.
I moved in on Saturday and started walking around to get my bearings on everything. Here's the building I'm in. It's a fixed-up apartment building from the 20's.

I don't have a garage or anything, but I do have a view of the bay.
The nice thing about the area is that I can walk to Market Street, which has a giant mall and lots of other things to do.
I'll try to post more as I have time, but now I have to get ready to start working on Monday!
My pedometer reading for the first day: 13,638 steps!
